1U35M TRAINER

Purpose
1U35M unified small arms trainer is intended for gunnery training to acquire skills at aiming, holding the weapon stable when firing from AK74Ì type submachine guns (AK100 series); SVD type sniper rifles; RPK74 type light machine guns; PKM type machine guns (6P41 “Pecheneg”); under-barrel GP-25 type grenade launchers; RPG-7V and RPG-26 type grenade launchers, as well as to maintain the acquired skills.
The trainer ensures highly effective servicemen training in handling weapons: leveling, sight setting at the aiming point, smooth trigger pulling, retaining of the aiming line, when shooting from different positions without any consumption of ammunition in classes.

         The trainer allows:
        • complete (100%) simulation of shooting process with real recoil
        • display of the trajectory and ballistic errors of shooting
        • evaluation and printing of shooting results

1-6 – weapon imitators; 7–recoil imitator; 8 – instructor’s control panel; 9 – lay-out of training targets imitator

Firing Rules Training
The firing training on 1U35M trainer comprises two stages. The first stage consists in training of firing rules with the help of the “Firing Rules Training” program (theory), and the second stage consists in dry firing in practice using the “Dry Firing in Practice” program.
The “Firing Rules Training” program allows shooters to learn proper handling with weapons:
     • taking account of external conditions (target range, air and charge temperatures, air
       pressure, wind speed and direction)
     • correct adjustment of the sighting device
     • weapon alignment (inclination, eye position relative to the sight optical axis)
     • firing at different moving and stationary targets (more than 100) from different positions etc.

The “Dry Firing in Practice” program allows a shooter to consolidate the acquired theoretical knowledge and adapt himself to the force effect of the weapon in consideration with his individual features. Depending on ammunition and target type (a rifleman or a team in attack) a trainee as a result of training can determine an effective mode of fire.

Results analysis
                Technical-economic efficiency
        • Increase of firing accuracy: 5-7 times
        • Reduction of training period: 4-5 times
        • Control of the combat training level
        • Recoupment of the Trainer – 1,5 year (saving of cartridges, reduction of training process
in classes and at a firing range).
